‏ Mark 9:41

41For truly, I say to you, awhoever gives you a cup of water to drink because
Greek in name that
you belong to Christ will by no means lose his reward.

‏ Mark 12:42-43

42And a poor widow came and put in two csmall copper coins, which make a penny.
Greek  two lepta, which make a kodrantes; a kodrantes (Latin quadrans) was a Roman copper coin worth about 1/64 of a denarius (which was a day’s wage for a laborer)
43And he called his disciples to him and said to them, Truly, I say to you, ethis poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box.

‏ Mark 14:7-8

7For fyou always have the poor with you, and whenever gyou want, you can do good for them. But hyou will not always have me. 8 iShe has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand jfor burial.

‏ 2 Corinthians 8:12

12For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable kaccording to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
